Vamizi Island Lodge is set on a small coral island, one of 32 making up the Quirimbas Archipelago. Surrounded by turquoise seas, this 12 kilometre long, 1 kilometre wide island, is a wonderful combination of bush and beach. The island is a sanctuary for Samango monkeys, coconut crabs and the 112 species of tropical birds. Vamizi is also home to the nests made by 100 turtles.
After landing on the island, a 45 minute open 4x4 Landrover ride delivers you from Vamizi airstrip to the Lodge.
