Azura at Quilalea is on a private island some 86 acres in size, and completely uninhabited (with the exception of the guests and staff). Quilalea Island enjoys one of only a few safe deep water moorings in the Quirimbas, and it is here that the Dhows of Arab traders traditionally found sanctuary. Azura is one of the few properties in the entire Quirimbas to lie within a fully protected marine reserve, which helps to ensure the abundant marine life.
