Medjumbe Private Island offers 12 thatched beach chalets (5 Twin and 8 Double rooms), all with en suite bathrooms fitted with indoor shower and separate bath as well as a private outdoor shower and plunge pool. The chalets are all well appointed, and each is equipped with air conditioning, outdoor sun deck and lounge area with hammock, ceiling fans, mini bar, personal electronic safe, satellite TV and the convenience of tea/coffee-making facilities. All of the accommodation is stretched out along the beach, offering tranquil views.
The Lodge's main restaurant (Jahazi) has an inside and outside deck and veranda, allowing for beautiful views. In addition there is a spacious lounge area, and bar (Bahari). You can also relax in the thatched loft area which overlooks the Indian Ocean, with magnificent views of the bay.
